TCA seminar Learn Green, Live Green

TCA Learn Green held in Bratislava on April 22-24 with the teachers of secondary schools on how to integrate GreenComp in their teaching

TCA seminar Learn Green, Live Green held in Bratislava on April 22-24 invited 37 secondary school and vocational teachers from 20 countries to explore, adopt, and practise the GreenComp competence framework. Through hands-on workshops and peer learning, participants learned how to integrate GreenComp into their daily teaching and professional lives, thereby empowering young people to learn and live sustainably.

This activity supported the Erasmus+ horizontal priority Environment & the fight against climate change. It aligned with the LTA Sustainability and Greening aim to increase awareness of environmental and climate challenges across sectors, develop sustainability-relevant competences, promote green strategies and methods, and foster forward-looking curricula across the Erasmus+ programme.

By the end of the TCA Learn Green, participants:

  • Understanded the GreenComp framework: its structure, rationale, and relevance for their teaching/training environment.
  • Mapped their school or VET centre’s current practice against GreenComp and identify concrete opportunities for change.
  • Exchanged good practices, challenges, and success factors with peers from other countries and build partnerships for future Erasmus+ KA1/KA2 projects focusing on green competences.
  • Aligned their follow-up actions and institutional approaches with the broader aims of the LTA GreenErasmus initiative—thus contributing to long‐term capacity building and moving from individual mobility to institutional transformation.

You are very welcome to see the aftermovie and feel the creative and friendly atmosphere.
