Over the past 25 years, 11 resource centers have been set up. Their aim is to support National Agencies in the priorities and sectors of the Erasmus + program and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).
The very first SALTOs created in the 2000s were the UK’s Cultural Diversity in response to the European Year Against Racism and Germany’s Supporting pre-accession countries.
Today, new SALTOs are created according to the priorities of the Erasmus+ program and geopolitical contexts.
SALTO Green was therefore created as part of the Erasmus+ 2021 -2027 program, one of whose priorities is ecological transition.
