TCA Green facilitation in 3 phases to train Climate Fresk facilitators.
In the second half of 2025, SALTO Green organized a TCA dedicated to the formation of the Climate Fresk and green events.
The TCA was divided into 3 parts to minimize the carbon footprint of the event and its participants.
A 1st part in videoconference to participate in a Climate Fresk. A refresher or a discovery for some to become trainers themselves.
The second part took place in Lille, where the 28 participants became Climate Fresk facilitators. This training enabled them to discover the ecological impact of an event, but also to find solutions for greening events.
During the TCA, participants were given a personalized booklet to record important information.
To encourage them to implement their first Climate Fresco in their organizations, the trainers offered them a Climate FresK game.
The final phase took place on Thursday, October 9, with the aim of reviewing their training.
Two participants had already implemented the Climate Collage in their organizations, and others had done so among their families and friends.
Following this TCA, a group of Erasmus+ program facilitators will be created so that they can share their doubts, experiences, and tips.
This training was low-carbon in several respects:
- The 2 organizers and 3 facilitators travelled by green transport only.
- Lunches are vegetarian, and vegetarian evening meals have been introduced.
- The venue was suitable for 35 people
- Coffee breaks were not wasted, as an open-access room was available.
- The signage used is eco-designed and reusable
- Only 1 useful goodie was offered, but documentary resources were available to participants.
- Badges and necklaces can be reused for other events
Of course, no event can be 100% green, but the participants, having taken the plane, also made part of their journey to the final destination by train.
We applaud the efforts of every participant to use green transport as much as possible, even if it sometimes takes longer. High-speed trains, night trains and buses.
