A conversation between North-South justice.
Digital technologies are having a major and growing impact on the environment, and international justice systems need to take the situation in hand.
The event is entitled “Articulating Digital and Environmental Justice: A North-South Conversation”, and has been divided into four themed sessions:
- Session 1: Environmental assessment of digital technologies
- Session 2: What could fair and sustainable digitalization look like? Part 1: Hopes and shortcomings of green solutions
- Session 3: What could fair and sustainable digitization look like? Part 2: Limits and global (re)distribution for desirable digitization
- Session 4: Policy implications for digital, social and environmental justice agendas
The aim was not only to share knowledge and experience on these issues, but also to start building bridges between the stakeholders present.
